Aston Villa vs Chelsea
Under Martin O’Neil Villa have frustrated Chelsea in the recent past and I can’t overlook that they have already beaten them once this season already.

Chelsea are fresh due to their early Champions League elimination but I think the value is with Villa especially on the handicap but for fixed odds I will take a chance on them to hold the Blues.

Leverkusen vs Bayern Munich
Bayern Munich have a very good record against Bayer Leverkusen as they have not suffered a defeat in the last nine matches against their opponents. Last time Bayer Leverkusen have won a league match against Bayern Munich in the season 2004/05 (4-1 victory).

The pressure is on both teams as they both need points from different reasons. Although Bayern Munich have the momentum, Bayer Leverkusen should not be underestimated as they might surprise after the series of three straight losses. Both teams play offensive football so i expect few goals here and that is probably better thing to bet on rather on a straight win.

Fiorentina vs Inter Milan
The midweek Champions' League clash and the poor away performances during the last few months suggest it will be very tough for Inter in Florence on Saturday evening.

The value bet is on hosts "not to lose".

Real Madrid vs Barcelona
I expect the Messi-factor to have the biggest impact on the match. Strongly doubt Real has the defensive quality to stop the Argentinean from putting a couple of goals past Casillas.

Real does not have the winning mentality unlike Barca. Moreover Galacticos have already lost some of their "important" fixtures during this season, which lead to elimination from the Cups.

Blackburn vs Manchester Utd
It has been a miserable week for Manchester United but, with Chelsea and Arsenal not in action, they will be hoping to finish it on a bright note by boosting their bid for a fourth straight title. The question is how much will morale have been affected by their European exit at the hands of Bayern Munich and another injury to leading scorer Wayne Rooney. As United proved against Chelsea last week, they lack a spark when the England striker is not in their team and it will be a worry for Sir Alex Ferguson ahead of the trip to Ewood Park. The visitors have a fantastic recent record against Blackburn but Sam Allardyce’s men have been formidable at home in 2010 and will have high hopes of inflicting an eighth defeat of the season on the Reds. It looks a difficult game to call on paper, so to be over 2.5 goals appears a sound bet.

Liverpool vs Fulham
Rafa Benitez believes Thursday’s Europa League victory against Benfica can act as a springboard for Liverpool to finish the season with a flourish but if that’s the case, they can ill-afford any slip-ups against Fulham. As far as Spain are concerned, striker Fernando Torres is hitting form at just the right time ahead of the World Cup and Fulham’s defence will have their hands full if they’re to keep him quiet. The Reds are still prone to conceding casual goals at the back, though, and Bobby Zamora is sure to pounce on anything loose if that’s the case. The visitors may still have won only once on the road in the league all season but their confidence will also be high after reaching the semi-finals of a European competition for the first time in their history. However, whether this is enough for them to cause a surprise looks unlikely so a home win by one goal appears a value bet.
